October

October. Oktober. Octubre. The leaves have been turning colors and falling. I can smell my neighbors steadily burning wood in the fireplace. There is a crispness to the clear starlight nights, a certain electric feeling in the air. Halloween is coming. Spooks and ghouls around every corner. Candy comas drawing nearer and nearer. October is such and amazing month. Over the years I have had many exciting and terrible things happen in October. My brothers death, my grandmothers death, my cousins wedding, and my beautiful nieces birthday. It is a time for me filled with some sadness, but also great joy. I love it. I dread it. I'm blogging about it.
